For me personally (but don't take it for granted) this looks like a failure of the controller and not like a broken screen. If this is true you're "lucky" as the first is covered by warranty and the second not.

Thanks for your advice.
Meanwhile I took the decision to return the device and get my money back.
It's done and it's goodbye Booken for me.
I previously owned a Opus and after 6 months had problems with the screen.
The shop gived me the chance to replace the Opus by the Gen3 but no luck again!
I think I will rest my wallet for a while. E-ink technology isn't yet very reliable.
