5 to 10 is 5
10 to 11 is 1
11 to 12 is 1
12 to 14 is 2
14 to 18 is 4
That is the move to the next number seems to reflect the previous number, apart from the zero of 10 because you would never get anywhere with that.
Therefore I added 8 to 18 and got 26.

You almost have the solution, in that each number is the previous number plus something. But you haven't really worked out how to get it properly.
