I'd like to see sites such as Goodreads or LibraryThing become our filtering agents. If we could assign a "weight" to members whose reviews we like we could get a weighted average rating for books we haven't read (sort of like Doctorow's "Wuffie" system, which would serve us well throughout the internet).
