IMO, Amazon is trying to rid itself of the 0.01% of customers that take up 10% of customer service time. (Numbers invented for illustrative purposes only.)

The big question is whether they are being over-zealous in doing this, and cancelling the accounts of people who are entirely innocent of any actions of which Amazon might disapprove.

I'm convinced by various reports on the web that this does sometimes happen. Indeed, it would be extraordinary if it didn't.

Whether that's the case for the OP of this thread I don't know.
