Kobo's already said they'll be providing reader software for Windows 8 PCs and tablets, so it's definitely on the radar of the e-reader companies.

BTW, I love Windows Phone and the Metro user interface as well. I might retire my Kobo Vox for a Windows 8 tablet running Kobo's software, depending on pricing and features.

Since Windows 8 code can theoretically run on Windows 8 PCs, Windows 8 tablets, and Windows Phone 8 smartphones, can you imagine a transformer-like device that does all three?! 0_o Detach your PC monitor and it becomes a tablet; detach your phone from the monitor for when all you need is a smartphone. It wouldn't be as useful for a family, but might be perfect for a single person or a college student.
