Are you sure about that? I was under the impression that MobiPocket books (as used by the Gen3) only supported UTF8 encoding. Wouldn't you need UTF16 for languages like Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc?

UTF8 should work OK for Cyrillic, Arabic, etc, but I'm not sure sure about those languages which need multi-byte character sets.
