No device with a 6" screen is going to do a good job of displaying PDF files. PDF was never intended to be an "eBook" format, and there's just no good way of display an A4/Letter sized page on a screen 1/6th the size of an A4 piece of paper.
The only eInk device that's in any way "good" for PDF display is the iRex iLiad. To be honest, if PDFs are vital to you, I'd stick to using a notebook or Tablet PC.
