Okay, in that case, if general English folklore is okay, Wikipedia has the characters of Hobbididance and Herne the Hunter, who both got mentions in Shakespeare.

For specific fairy tale characters who are more like named creatures instead of individual-personage names, there's the English tale of The Hedley Kow and The Tale of the Hoodie from Scotland, which turns out to be a kind of crow.
