Try pressing Ctrl-F5 (assuming you're using windows) while you're on the purchase page. That was recommended for other codes not working and it got them working for me again in Firefox (where I got the "Please enter a code" error). I had tried it in IE and it worked fine. My guess is they changed something in the coding on their page and something cached in the browser was messing with it until it got properly refreshed.
