Several of Joseph Jacobs's collections of fairy tales, including a volume of English fairy tales, are available at Project Gutenberg--maybe that would help. Also the Andrew Lang fairy tale collections, also at PG, might give you some names.

P.S. Jacobs includes a story about a woman named Habetrot (Habetrot and Scantlie Mab). Lang has Prince Hyacinth (Prince Hyacinth and the Dear Little Princess) and Helena (Prince Fickle and Fair Helena).
