What information Adobe requires in order to do their job is much more limited, though. (Not that this is a guarantee that they
aren't sending more data, mind you.) All that they need is "Adobe ID
johnsmith@gmail.com checked out/bought book X".
They could theoretically collect info, but they don't have the customer data to use it.
