Definitely an issue I have had! Good solution! I find it difficult, after awhile, to hold the Nook in one hand comfortably. I also find it difficult when I'm standing in the subway, always afraid of losing my grip of the Nook. I'm also wary of theft as it's not uncommon for electronic devices being snatched out of people's hands at the stations or on the trains.

What kind of hooks did you use?

You should forward your post to B&N. Perhaps they will incorporate this idea or some other solution that alleviates the need to grip
