Why don’t you try to create very simple recipes (in the basic mode) of your desired RSS feeds yourself? All you have to do is enter the RSS URL, give the feed and the scheme a name and add it. The user interface of this part of Calibre is not what I would call intuitive, but once you’ve found out how to do it, it’s very easy.
