The yellow LED could mean it's not charged enough to to turn on - try letting it charge for an hour or so. Did you try holding the power switch for about 15 seconds? If neither works, more information about what may have caused it to lock up (such as any installed hacks and what the last thing you did) would help you to get an answer.
