I don't particularly trust these so-called analysts, especially those that have to estimate units sold. I don't think e-book device manufacturers have sold a huge number of e-books. Otherwise, they would be bragging about it in their annual/quarterly reports to reel investors in. I live and work in a U.S. metro area, ride the train daily, and I think I've seen 1 person with an e-book (not sure which). I don't hear anyone talking about them. And given the U.S. economy (which is to a lesser extent negatively affects world-wide economies) and people cutting back on non-essential spending, I doubt e-book device sales this year will exceed last year's sales.
