I'm organizing my library and want to have Calibre name my books like this;

Author-Book Title.epub

I can do this by switching the author and title in the meta data but of course the meta data is wrong.

Is there a way to ensure I have the correct meta data but still have Calibre output my epubs named the way I want?

(I'd love to have them read like "Author-Year-Title.epub That would be fantastic but beggars cant be choosers)

Zip
Internally, the book folders are Calibres (keep your mitts off ). See the sticky about folder names.
Save to Disk/Send to Device have Templates control the EXPORT file name and path:
{authors}-{pubdate}-{title}
should do it (the file extension is automatic and dependent on the format sent)
