The batteries run out on the reader at the most inopportune times.
You can't read on airplanes during takeoff and landing.
Unless you break the DRM you can't move the books to a new reader.
It's harder to browse through your library at book spines for a reread. The software is getting better though, so I don't expect this one to last much longer.
