Sorry...I have read for hours...no results.
I have K3g, US, ver 3.3, so installed:
update_jailbreak_0.10.N_k3g-3.2.1_install.bin (and
update_ss_0.25.N_k3g_install.bin)
per the following instructions:
Note for Kindle >= 3.2.1 Users:
Please use the file corresponding to your kindle model suffixed by -3.2.1, the other one won't work on these newer FW versions, while the -3.2.1 file won't work on older FW versions...
Installations went well but old screensavers still there. Thought I had perhaps installed wrong JB but cannot find uninstall.bin for 3.2.1. anywhere. Should I have maybe started with
update_jailbreak_0.5.1_k3g_install.bin? Could unpacking with 7-zip have caused a problem?
Now I am stuck. Know factory default reset will not remove what I must have done incorrectly. Please
