Calibre is suppose to directly support the Playbook, but I've never been able to get Calibre to recognize the Playbook.

I choose to use for 2 reasons:
1) they are the only file service with Playbook support, 2) if you access them from the Playbook, they used to give away 50 Gig of storage space.

Not the disadvantage, does not have free Windows software to sync their service.

So I use Gladinet Cloud Desktop Starter Edition to provide access from Windows to

Then I have Calibre keep its library on the drive letter/folder for that I set up in Gladinet Cloud Desktop Starter Edition.

With this setup, Calibre just keeps its library up to date and via's Playbook software I can copy the file I wish to read on the Playbook and use any of the readers. At this point in time, no reader directly supports the API, so this is a little inconvenient to read.

No with OS 2.0 of the Playbook due, all of this may change....
