The cat in my avatar is the scourge of the neighborhood and has cowed FedEx delivery men.
True story: Last week the doorbell rang and the FedEx delivery man asked me if my cat would hurt him. Apparently, the cat was lying on the walkway and wouldn't let him approach the front door. She was hissing at him and would not move. He tried knocking on the garage door but of course that didn't work. He finally took the large envelope and waved it at the cat. She retreated to the front porch still hissing. She finally gave up and let him get to the front door. Jeri hisses at anyone who approaches the front door. Keeps away the salesmen, Jehovah's Witnesses, and neighborhood kids.
