I like "puke" draft. It's honest -- and it reminds you that there is no shame in despising your imperfections.

Someone once advised me to think of the first run as the "0th draft". You know, the one that's full of bracketed notes like [LOOK UP DOG'S NAME], that you would never, ever dream of showing to anybody. I like that, too.
