Nope. Granular control over what metadata gets pulled from a book during add book operations is still just a wishlist item last time I had this discussion with Kovid, and not high priority compared to other stuff the developers are working on.
Personally I *always* turn off grabbing metadata from inside the book so it doesn't bother me.
