OK, I was reading about the Touchdown app in Amazon's app store and it says you can "connect to your company's Exchange server" but I'm not in a company, I don't understand this.
ApK, here's all I want to do - my 8 year old grandson is here with me a lot and he'll get on my laptop for hours sometimes, playing games. When he's on the laptop, I use my Fire for reading Facebook, Kindleboards, MobileRead, etc. and I'd like to be able to check my email also. When this happens, I'm actually sitting right here beside him on the couch, he's on the laptop, I'm on the Fire. I'm not interested in being able to check email when I'm away from home or anything like that...just when I'm sitting right here!
ETA: Plus I'm enamored with my Fire, sometimes I just like to relax on the couch and do everything using it instead of sitting in front of my laptop
