That's not what Touchdown is. It's just a mail client/PIM program, like Outlook, for Android.

If it is "Outlook-like" enough for you, and can import your mail and calenders, it may be aan appropriate solution for you.

I still prefer web-based services for stuff like this in this day and age, especially on a device with limited storage and limited editing ability, like the Fire. Seriously, are you planning to download your mail, take your Fire to an area with no wifi to read them, and compose a lot of replies to send later?
