Can anyone tell me how to decipher book and document file names in the book and document folders?

When I sideload book or documents onto KF and then use File Expert to look at the BooK and Document folders, the filenames are the actual book names. When I download a book or document from Amazon or the public library and then look in the folders the filenames are different from the book names. They usually start out "B00" then some numbers and letters then ending in either '.prc' or 'mbp'. How can I decipher the book file names?

Another associated question. I can easily open books and documents from the bookshelf via the normal KF interface. WHen I use File Expert to look into the folders and select a file and try to open it with any of the listed programs, including the Kindle app, I'm told the app can't open the file. ANy thoughts?
