Anyone have a clue what to do, ebook worms?
find metadata.calibre on your Kobo. (it has been damaged).
(Calibre Should not be running)
delete it
Start Calibre, Wait for the task wheel to stop (can take some minutes as it is searching your Kobo and rebuilding).

Always use the (safely) Eject feature and wait for the On Device column to disappear before pulling the cord.
