This sounds excellent and just my style. I'm also currently working on my first novel, which delves into "eco-terrorism," Big Pharma, and government overreach.

Are you talking about research here? I'm having a little trouble with that myself, partly because looking up many of the things I need to read probably puts me on some government watch list or the no-fly registry.
