I also bought this device as strictly an electronic "book." I wish there was a button called "Do not disturb," or something else appropriate, which can turn everything off except my ability to read without being disturbed.

I bought the kobo so that I could port my favorite fanfic to a device I could easily read in bed. I wanted something that could easily be read (in one hand) on the bus for my commute. I wanted a device which would eliminate my buying paperback novels, and eliminate my need for shelf-space. I wanted to stop reading on an LCD screen and perhaps save myself from going blind.

I just wanted a device to easily read on. There are so many other devices (phones, tablets, etc.) to do all those other things. Someone please make it easier to read on my e-reader.
