I wrote to customer service explaining what happened and hopefully they will refund one of them.

Has anyone else had this happen to them and did customer service resolve that mistake?
I am a little sad about this, because I would not have done it if I couldn't have saved the money.
Yep I have had it happen and a few others here have gotten similar errors. I have learned with Kobo even if it says it didn't go through wait awhile just to make sure. I had it happen with Paypal a few times.

It can take up to a month or more to get your refund.
