To add to robyshot's answer, you can further customize this (or check the current settings) in the t1 device plugin config. Go into the preferences screen, click "Plugins" at the bottom in the advanced section, then in "Device Interface Plugins", double-click "Sony PRST1 and newer..." and change the options there to fit your needs.
