But B&N does NOT support this reader outside of the US. They won't ship it to the UK, they won't do warranty work on it if it's in the UK, they used to even block updates to people without a US IP address. I'd personally stay away from something so unsupported, especially when making recommendations to someone new to e-readers who lives in the UK.
