I don't think I'd have ever read A Christmas Carol, if not as an ebook. I'd have assumed seeing it in several film versions would make it a pointless read. But I found myself downloading A Christmas Carol on a whim, and started reading...and couldn't stop. Stunning quality of writing. Fresh as though it had been written last week.
