Blossom, you might like First Grave on the Right. I haven't listened to myself, but it is likened to a Stephanie Plum. If you are interested in "regular" mysteries, there are a lot of really good one in this sale. Like you I would rather read romances than listen and I love listening to mysteries. I have listened to and enjoyed: Elizabeth Peters, Laurie King's Beekeeper's Apprentice (I was hesitant because of the idea of Sherlock, but it was very good), Her Royal Spyness by Bowen (frothy and good fun), Maisie Dobbs by Winspear, Still Life by Louise Penney (v. good but very much more the traditional mystery), Faye Kellerman's are always good, but more serious. Anne Perry I think I prefer to read. Catherine Coulter's the Cove. I love Dick Francis and Charles Todd is great too. And one I haven't read, but it has the western element is A Cold Dish by Craig Johnson. I just put that in my cart. You may have read all of the above, but in case not, thought I would mention a few. You gave me so many good ideas on that coupon sale awhile back.
Just bought 8. One of them is a mystery taking place in Wyoming, Open Season by C. J. Box. 3 mysteries, 3 historicals, and 2 scifi. I don't know how I will get through all these books!
