Along the lines of HarryT's story above, I had a neighbor who worked in city codes department. With great hilarity she one day recounted a story about sending out an e-mail to a resident regarding some construction on his property. The moment before she hit "send" she noticed a typo (an "i" instead of an "e") in the subject line of the message, which was supposed to read "Regarding the size of your deck."
