I searched for this subject but didn't find one:

It was recently brought to my attention that an ePub file of mine, when downloaded onto a cellphone, was re-tagged to be a .txt file on the phone. I tried this with my Motorola Droid 3, and sure enough, the ebook tag changed from .epub to .txt.

Interestingly, the file is still an epub; it still opened properly in Cool Reader, covers, formatting and all.

Anyone have an idea why this happens, and if there is something I need to add to the container to prevent the tag change?
