I fear that if I actually put the cassette into a cassette player, it just would get chewed up and destroyed, because it's so old. Perhaps I would try it one time, in order to digitize it. I know there are services that do that. But then I fear my husband would not be crazy about my going to such great lengths to indulge my sentimentality about my first boyfriend!
My daughter found another one of my old cassette tapes when she was 2, and made a very long, skinny, shiny black ribbon out of it.
