Is it possible I have a different version of Calibre (I have 0.8.38) or you have a plugin that changes the behaviour we are discussing? The prompt I saw and used is at the bottom of the screen which displays after you have run the Library Match Check and, it there is nothing to indicate this "to ignore" is permanent.
However, it worked for me, so thank you again.
