This is absolutely and totally unacceptable behavior for any app of any kind. Must be a bunch of kids trying to act like M$.
you had a chance at install time to NOT make Sigil the default for those 3 types.
IIRC Uninstalling Sigil will revert Windows to the previous handlers., Then you can re install, removing the ticks for those file types.
