Perhaps Mobileread should modify their site so a login is required to download. Welcome to the cutthroat world of e-crap Mobileread... everything was fine as long as it was the other guy that was getting cheated. What comes around, goes around.

And that my friend shows you are an overgrown brat.

And also someone who has limited idea of how strongly Mobilread and its members feel about copyright and protecting authors.

If you had actually taken the time, which you apparently haven't by your flippant comment about giving instructions for defeating DRM, that it is forum policy not to provide any help to defeat DRM. the PID hack mentioned bye you is basicly forcing the kindle to show its PID (which is hidden by amazon on purpose) so that a person can PURCHASE a drm protected file from another source.

The only major complaint about the list was that the source of the books was not acknowledged. People have worked hard to format those Public domain books for the Kindle and other Ebook readers, and it is only fair that their work be acknowledged. Is it that hard to give credit to someone else, and perhaps a pointer to the site that is actually hosting the content.

Or are you afraid that once people are exposed to a more full featured community, they won't come back?

Come on! There is more then enough room for everyone. JUst because they come here, doesn't mean that they will not participate in your group.

Pulling stupid stunts like this only reflects badly on you, not Nate or Mobilread, and puts you in the company of script kiddies that want to break something, because they can. Do you want to look like them
