Perhaps Mobileread should modify their site so a login is required to download. Welcome to the cutthroat world of e-crap Mobileread... everything was fine as long as it was the other guy that was getting cheated. What comes around, goes around.
1. The MobileRead books are all public domain or Creative Commons.
2. Many people spend a great deal of time formating and converting them. What's the problem with acknowledging their provenance?
3. Nate has kept the other moderators fully informed throughout.

A more temperate tone would be conducive to a calm resolution of this issue.
