Okay, you guys are awesome. I was one of those who "sniffed up their nose" at e-books. How could anything replace the feel, smell and genuine comfort of a REAL book in my hands? Being a bookworm from the age of 5, (did anyone else here get told to "get your nose out of that book and do your chores!) and hitting 60 in just a few days, I figured I was way too old for this 'newfangled toy"......well, last Christmas I saw the Kindle on amazon.com, watched the video, and fell in lust. Of course, they ran out immediately and even had I had the money then, could have never gotten one. Thats okay, cause it gave me time to do research, find opinions, good and bad, and listen to what those that had ebooks had to say. So when I saw that Amazon.com had reduced their price by $50, (I know, it will go down more by Christmas) and my BD coming up, I decided it was time for me. Luckily, I have a very understanding husband, who even ordered me an extra battery. Well, getting the Kindle was just the beginning......who knew about all these free books available online? Not Me! Long story short.....too late?........the feedbooks kindle guide is on my Kindle homepage, mnybooks.com is on the kindle browser, and I've finally figured out I had to download mobipocket reader to my laptop in order to download books to my computer.....which isn't necessary now, but a nice backup in case I lose, drop or otherwise disable the Kindle. I am amazed at the quality of what I'm reading. You people responsible are national treasures, and your site is warm and friendly, even to 'newbies".....

.....Thank you!
