I have a new fantasy story for sale; it features Lydia Clinton, the heroine of "Use Your Head."

First Things First (short story, 3800 words): Lydia Clinton has settled into her post as Federal Marshal of Thayersville. Just as she gets a marriage proposal, slavers from a distant land capture some new residents. How will her effort to stop the slavers affect her future?
