I see in the metadata two tags : "Date" and "Published"

"Date" seems to refer to the Date when I have added the book to my library.
"Published" seems to refer to the date when the ebook was published.

Isn't there a tag for the fisrt date of publication, as a physical book ?
I like to know when a book has been published for the first time...

Thanks in advance.

No
Published is subject to the whims of the metadata download (which leans to most recent) or user input.
If First Published is important to you, you can create that custom column.
You will be totally responsible for data entry
