I have just finished the fourth book and I'm enjoying them. Besides the names, of course. I could accept having names like Arghahaghlk. But you can have someone called Bwahaharg and in the next page he's called Baron Good Listener, who is talking to Baron Quite Sympathetic and Count Egg Yolks.
I have given up on trying to remember who's who.
By the way, has anybody read "Helm", by Stephen Gould? (that's the guy who wrote "Jumper"). I thinks it's quite clear Weber got a lot of ideas and inspiration from that book.
