It's not quite as easy as the previous reply imply. If you mean books bought at the book store tied to the device, then yes, any WiFI enabled device will do it for you.
If you intend to buy books at more than one store, download free book for example here at MR place or borrow library books it's a bit more to it.
I transfer with USB, so I can't tell you more about it though.
