Classic Cinema Online - Legal?

Is anyone familiar with Classic Cinema Online (http://www.classiccinemaonline.com/)?

They have a collection of movies, apparantly available for streaming free of charge. Many of them are pretty obscure, but there are quite a few big-name films in there too.

I was wondering if the site is legal? I can't see any copyright statement attached to the films themselves, and no indication of who owns or operates the site.

I'd like to watch some of the flicks, but not if they're pirated.
