Yep, the plot is a little tired. Heritage is better, but my favourite Brooks was The Word and the Void trilogy, followed by perhaps the High Druid of Shannara trilogy.


Started Paul Auster's The New York Trilogy. Thanks to TGS for a recommendation a while ago.
