it would be nice to keep all books in one library 'calibre library' because with two libraries i have to have two copies of books we share and if i edit one book for spelling ect i then have to copy changes to other book.
Any suggestions on how to do this would be great.

Thanks in advance to you all.
I would create a custom (Field) Column: Owner
of Text type with a permitted set of values (His,Hers,Ours )

Then you can set a filter: Not owner:Hers or Not owner:His
