Never??? Anything can happen, the ever increasing number of uploads combined with an improved discovery system could force a lowering of prices, the race to the bottom as it were.
Also, a shortening of copyright length might occur, we expect things to be faster and such so in the future, when everybody only cares about the newest thing any book older than 6 months might be free.
