It's not for nothing, therefore, that astronauts are routinely fed a low-fiber diet. Well, a small piece of contaminant got loose and lodged itself under one of the control panels, where it shorted out some circuitry. For whatever reason, NASA never chose to reveal the details of what caused the problem.
